The library is open thanks to the municipality of Kazabazua, the Social Cultural Golden
Age Association of Kazabazua and the committee of Kazabazua municipal library

We have a great collection of books with a good volume of innovations in French and English
The Kazabazua municipal library is affiliated with the CRSBPO a network of public libraries through the Outaouais region.
We offer:
--A rotation of 2200 books annually a local collection of more than 6000 books a dozen of different
magazines and more than 600 DVD.
--Several passes for the regional museums, internet high speed and Wi-Fi.
--Service of photocopy and fax
--Book club activities in French and English and more( used Book sale)
-Activities at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine day and Easter
Book club:
French adults: l the 3th Wednesday of the month from 6 PM to 8 Pm

English adults: last Wednesday of the month from 7 PM to 9 PM

Children: Every Tuesday from June 23th to the end of August (KAZCAN)

The goal of the library is to allow people:
-To have meetings, to borrow books, to do school works or simply to work in a Community environment or a peaceful environment ;
- To obtain the assistance necessary at the occasion in order to work on the computers (which besides are all updated regularly) and to have the necessary tools to work in a virtual environment.
- Moreover, the library won several prices among the 42 libraries through the MRC of Outaouais (MRC of the Gatineau valley, MRC of Pontiac, MRC des collines de l, Outaouais and MRC of Papineau). The library
received the Gerard Desrosiers Price and was named 2nd at the provincial level.
Today
- today, we have more than 600 members. Among those we have an average of 100 portable computers users monthly. Ref.: In July and August 2014 we accommodated more than 1100 people.
Multipurpose center
We offer the possibility to attend craft and painting workshops and we make it Available free for all the members of the family and the community.
Meeting room and corridors can be used for monthly exposures in order to allow a group of people to show to the population what we do in the community.
N.B. We would like that all the users come to expose their creations and help to decorate the center, whether it is for Christmas or with other festivals and occasions.
